Loudwater FC were 3rd in the Division 2 last season and will be one of the strongest sides in the division this season and they certainly played with a lot of confidence and purpose in the 1st 10 minutes.

However as Marlow Utd Youth established their game plan they were able to restrict Loudwater FC to only one shot throughout the game.

The MUTD goalkeeper had a great game sweeping up the loose balls with the defenders picking off all the balls played over the top from Loudwater FC and not allowing them any joy in front of goal. 

Mid field were everywhere and competed hard to break-up the opposition’s play and supplied good ball to the forwards which allowed the striker to cut between the two central defenders and slip the ball past the Loudwater goal keeper to score the winning goal. Further chances came through a missed header and hitting the post but the score remained 1 – 0 to Marlow Utd Youth at the final whistle

A great start for Marlow United Youth and an exciting and well played game by both sides to kick of the start of the 2009 season
